Data to be Collected: Silage yield collected on the middle two rows of plots and reported as Tons/acre (adjusted to 65% moisture content), % lodging. Data will be analyzed using LSD p= 0.05

Entry Confidentiality: If required, entries can be coded to ensure confidentiality. 

• Target planting date will be no later than May 15th (depending on weather) with a target seed receipt date of no later than April 30th.
• 1500 seeds required per entry.

• Feed analysis by NIR is optional
• Testing will be completed by Fraser Valley Analytical Services

• If COVID restrictions allow, a field day will be planned where growers, extension specialist, consultants, breeders and local dealers will be invited to tour the trial. 
• If COVID restrictions prevent an in-person field day, then each company can have the opportunity to film a promotional video of their entries.
• A results report will be generated comparing all entries within the test among each other and sent to companies which submit entries.
• A fact sheet will be generated and disseminated via Social media, grower groups and the Pacific Ag Show in 2024.
